Gamekore (the “App”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use and protect it.

We collect the following information as needed to provide the service:

  • Account information (authentication details, user name)
  • Game collection information (registered games, ratings)
  • Profile information
  • Usage data (screen views, feature usage events). We do not send personally identifiable information such as email addresses to analytics.
  • Push notification tokens and device identifiers (for notification delivery and abuse prevention)

Collected information is used only to operate the App, support users, and improve the service.

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their respective privacy policies:

  • Firebase (Google): authentication, data storage, cloud functions, analytics
  • FCM/Expo: push notifications
  • IGDB: game information database

We do not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • With the user’s consent
  • When required by law
  • When necessary to protect life, body, or property

User data is stored with appropriate security measures. After an account deletion request, related data (collections, play notes, follow relationships) and technical data such as push tokens will be deleted in sequence. Aggregated statistics that do not identify individuals may be retained for a limited period for service improvement.

Users have the right to access, correct, delete, or stop the use of their personal information, including account deletion.

  • Select the “Privacy / Personal data” category in the form
  • Provide a reachable email address in the form’s email field, used for identity verification
  • Describe the requested action (access, correction, deletion, opt-out, etc.) and your user name (optional)
  • We will respond within 30 days after verifying your identity

Account deletion can also be performed from Profile settings in the App.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.

If we make significant changes that materially affect users (for example, the types of data collected or purposes of use), we will provide clear notice in the App or on this page. Minor adjustments such as wording or typo fixes may be announced only by updating this page.

  • You can disable push notifications anytime in OS settings.
  • Analytics does not include personally identifiable information. If you want to opt out, please contact us.

Cloud services used by the App may operate servers outside Japan. In such cases, we will apply appropriate safeguards under applicable laws.

The App is not designed for children. Minors should use the App with a guardian’s consent. We do not intentionally collect personal information from users under 13 years old (or the age defined by local law). If we learn such data was collected, we will delete it promptly. Guardians may request deletion via support email.
